由美國編劇工會（WGA）西部與東部成員投票決定的「21 世紀最佳電影劇本（迄今為止）」作品列表於近期公開，其公關行銷委員會主席 Aaron Mendelsohn 表示，這份名單的誕生是為了慶祝這 21 年來偉大的劇本家以及作品，同時研究 20 世紀以來電影寫作的演進和多樣性。
而名單中不少動畫電影也入榜，包含皮克斯《腦筋急轉彎》、《天外奇蹟》、《瓦力》、《玩具總動員 3》、《超人特攻隊》、《海底總動員》，以及吉卜力《神隱少女》、索尼影業《蜘蛛人：新宇宙》。
