12月3日是初代Playstation正式發售的紀念日，被稱為「Playstation Day」
由1994年開始發售的Playstation，不經不覺間已經踏入第２７個年頭，但依然是遊戲界最具人氣的家用主機品牌。
而每年的Playstation Day都會舉行一次遊戲界頒獎典禮，名為「PlayStation Awards」
由2020年開始典禮改名為「PlayStation Partner Awards」,繼續以獎項感激造出人氣遊戲的製作團隊們。
而在2021年12月2日和12月3日，PS亦公佈了影片，發表「PARTNER AWARD」和「SPECIAL AWARD」的得獎遊戲！

「PlayStation Partner Awards 2021 Japan Asia」以由2020年10月至2021年9月期間在日本/亞洲地區開發的遊戲作品作對象、對在全世界達到全高銷量的頭三位作品頒發「GRAND AWARD」。
銷量位處於上位，並且活動成果受到肯定的作品則會頒發「PARTNER AWARD」。
而在日本/亞洲地區達到最高銷量的作品就會頒發「SPECIAL AWARD」。
在2021年12月2日公開的「PlayStationR Partner Awards 2021｜PARTNER AWARD＆SPECIAL AWARD 愛表！」影片中發表了「PARTNER AWARD」和「SPECIAL AWORD」的得獎作品！
