去年 TGA 2019 遊戲大獎期間，Epic Games 一連 12 天每天都送一款免費遊戲，而迎接 2020 年，又立刻馬不停蹄展開三款大作限時免費，分別是初代《末世騎士》與《末世騎士 2》，外加極限運動模擬《STEEP》為期一週內免費領取。
玩家只要登入 Epic Games 商店頁面領取遊戲，即可將三款遊戲永久保存至收藏庫，限時免費期間從即日起至 1 月 10 日上午 12:00 截止。
此外，就在 Steam 冬季特賣會於今（3）日凌晨結束，不久前 Epic Games 的假期特賣也特別宣布延長一週至 1 月 7 日，試圖想搶最後一波促銷市場。
經過一年的發展，Epic Games 商城目前有 228 款遊戲，扣掉一些免費下載的項目，共有 204 款遊戲在架上販售，另外還有像 12 款未上市遊戲如《電馭叛客 2077》、《死亡擱淺》等。
依照 Pro Game Guides 記錄統計，從 2018 年底 Epic Games 第一波送出《深海迷航》（Subnautica）開始，2019 一整年，Epic Games 共送了 68 款遊戲，這個數字幾乎是 Epic 目前商城付費遊戲總數的 1/3，其中《Celeste》還送了兩次，可見 Epic Games 非常有錢。

當然，自從爆發平台隱私權存取爭議以來，Epic Games 在歐美海外玩家社群就一直是惡評不斷，而長期的限時免費遊戲大方送，也被普遍視為是「邪惡的」獨佔策略的懷柔手段。
至於新的一年 Epic Games 能否擺脫惡名，亦或是何時才會放棄獨佔策略，全遊戲業仍等著看。
