Square Enix 人氣多平台線上遊戲《Final Fantasy XIV》即將於英國時間 2 月 21 日 8:00（台灣時間 21 日 16:00）進行 Xbox Series 公開測試。目前已確認 Xbox 版遊玩《FFXIV》正式版需具備 XGP 會員。
簡單來說，免費體驗版不用 XGP，但如果遊玩正式版的《FFXIV》就必須具備 Xbox Game Pass 的「Core」或「Ultimate」會員資格。

The Free Trial version, including the open beta test, will not require an Xbox Game Pass (Core or Ultimate) plan to play. However, the full Xbox Series X|S version will require an Xbox Game Pass (Core or Ultimate) plan to play.
免費體驗版，包括公開測試，無需要求具備 Xbox Game Pass（Core或 Ultimate）。但是，完整 Xbox Series X|S 版本需要具備 Xbox Game Pass（Core 或 Ultimate）資格遊玩。
另外，如果同一個 Square Enix 帳號已經使用過其他平台的體驗版本，或者已經是《FFVIX》正式版註冊者，無法參加這次 Xbox 版的體驗。
最後，SQEX 已經計劃在 Xbox 公測結束後，很快推出正式版本。目前正在等待最後時間確認。
