任天堂於昨（9）日的 Nintendo Direct 上， 公開了即將於本月底發售的《星戰火狐》將於今日推出免費體驗版的消息。
今日也確定了本作是由 Velan Studios 操刀開發，這家工作室先前已經和任天堂合作開發過《瑪利歐賽車實況 家庭賽車場》，也就是搭配實體玩具的那款瑪利歐賽車。

《星際火狐》故事描述瘋狂科學家 Andross （暫譯：安德羅斯）企圖控制 Lylat（暫譯：萊拉特）星系，而玩家將扮演福克斯‧麥克勞德與他的星際火狐小隊來阻止他。
《星際火狐》將於 6 月 25 日於 Switch 2 上推出。
